There are many great things happening at Colon Jr/Sr High.  Our Robotic program for the 2016-17 school year will be starting soon.  Please call the office for information. Over the past year we have been making changes to our curriculum and it has helped our students to become more college and career ready.  We have increased our dual enrollment through Glen Oaks Community College, and are now offering a range of Glen Oaks courses at Colon Sr. High.  And, we are proud of our partnership with the Branch Area Career Center and have increased enrollment in their programs!   This fall we rolled out a new program called MAGI (Making Academic Growth Interesting) each of our junior high students will have either MAGI Math and MAGI Social Studies or MAGI ELA and MAGI Science.  These classes are intervention classes to help students reach their projected academic growth levels.  We will be using student NWEA test results to determine appropriate, timely interventions.  We are excited about this opportunity and looking forward to its success.

We are making magic happen at Colon Jr/Sr High!
